Ingredients
- nonstick cooking spray
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup old fashioned oats not quick/instant oats
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil softened
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 5 cups apples honeycrisp are great balance of sweetness and tartness
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup walnuts

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat 13 x 9 inch pan with cooking spray.
- Combine apples, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and lemon juice in a medium baking dish. Mix well, layer pan with apples.
- Combine oats, whole wheat flour, walnuts, brown sugar, coconut oil and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in a medium bowl, mix well.
- Pour oat mixture over the apple mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until apples are soft, serve warm, and enjoy!
