Ana Martinez, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Office Location: West Sacramento
Ana Martinez, PA-C, born in Anaheim and raised in Marysville, CA, is a first-generation Mexican American who earned her bachelor’s degree at UC Irvine and then went on to receive her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. During her undergraduate education, she spent time volunteering in underrepresented communities where the problem of equitable healthcare was emphasized to her.
Ana chose primary care because she is passionate about preventative health, patient education, and enjoys continuity of care. She places great importance in building close relationships with patients and hopes to provide culturally sensitive health care to minorities and other underserved populations who feel apprehensive about seeking medical care. She is excited to utilize her cultural background and Spanish to contribute to bridging these gaps in healthcare and serve the Sacramento community.
Outside of her professional life, Ana enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and sassy pomeranian chihuahua, Rosie. She is excited to be back in Sacramento and hopes to put roots down in beautiful Northern California.
